Scribe4Me are often asked about the technical aspects of how our services work, and what sets us apart from other medical scribe companies. Below are the most common questions we receive, and our answers.
A medical scribe works alongside a physician and is responsible for documenting the patient encounter, quickly and accurately into the EHRs in real-time. By assuming clinical documentation responsibilities, medical scribes free up physicians to focus on direct patient care.
Virtual medical scribing service provides live data-entry into the EHRs. A virtual medical scribe accompanies the physician virtually during a patient visit, listens to and transcribes patient information, in real-time. Offline medical scribing is an asynchronous clinical documentation service designed for physicians who prefer to review their charts and sign-off at the end of a shift or the next day. Medical transcription is a process of converting notes dictated by physicians and other healthcare professionals into a text format for placement on a patient’s permanent medical records.
